eneff@discuss.tchncs.deto Buy European@feddit.uk•Clothing made in Germany (as expected, prices are quite high)9·26 days agoYeah, even though many of his points are valid, he’s being a prick about the whole situation and making many things way harder for himself (and his employees) than they’d need to be IMO.
Not sure if their post was edited after your response, but they did say how.
I go on public transit with my cart
They are probably talking about something like this:
eneff@discuss.tchncs.deto Buy European@feddit.uk•Clothing made in Germany (as expected, prices are quite high)12·26 days agothere’s primark’s clothing which is largely made in Ireland
What makes you think that? Only two of the 793 factories Primark sources its products from are in Ireland and only eight of them are in the EU. (Source)
because they lean on automation, not because of sweatshops

eneff@discuss.tchncs.deto memes@lemmy.world•They didn't have 32oz Mountain Dew Baja Blast either2·2 months agoAlso there’s another effect: If you go to Venice for example and order Spaghetti Carbonara there, you will get the inauthentic version tourists are used to, because the restaurant is going to try to appeal to the tourists preferences. Now you have Italian chefs making an inauthentic version of their original dish, which probably won’t be as good as the actual inauthentic version. (hope that makes sense lol)
eneff@discuss.tchncs.deto memes@lemmy.world•They didn't have 32oz Mountain Dew Baja Blast either142·2 months agoModern pizza originates in the US, so I don’t know why the fuck anyone would go to Italy and expect it to be better.
Because the authentic version of any cuisine is usually preferred over the americanised one by anyone who isn’t from the US.

This comment seems to express a strongly negative opinion about Google. The writer is suggesting that Google’s services should not be included in any positive or useful lists. Instead, they believe that Google and its services should be on a “list of things to avoid,” implying that using Google is something people should avoid for some reason – likely due to concerns about privacy, data collection, or general distrust of the company.

The only list any of their services should be included in is the list of things to avoid.

It took them forever to update after electron 28 went EOL and they updated to a version that would go EOL about a week later, which they have been on ever since…
Edit: They just bumped to a supported version, but only in master. It’s still unknown when a release with a supported electron version is coming.

First of all, something not being free (as in gratis) does not mean it is proprietary per se.

Second of all, your reading comprehension failed you again:
However, if you cannot, or do not want to pay, you can click the button at the bottom to use DeArrow for free. No worries if you can’t or don’t want to pay :)

Thank you for your work on this! It’s highly appreciated!
I’m about as broke as it gets currently, but are there ways to send money your way in case someone who’s able to comes across this?
