Show them you can export the passwords and print them. It will help them to make the switch to know they cannot lose everything because it is on paper. It is what helped my parents
I realized I was anxious about climate change because I was depressed and not the other way around. I cannot change the world radically but I can do my part, convince others to do the same, vote for the right politicians, pressure companies and politicians to act for climate change… In a nutshell I can do a lot and being depressed or anxious doesn’t help
Staying child-free is likely the most effective personal decision you could make to reduce your environmental impact.
How do you reach this conclusion ?
I had a two laptop: one main for gaming and a shitty computer for school. I had to code on python. It was easier to setup on linux. I liked KDE. I installed kubuntu on the laptop for school.
As soon as I stopped playing videogames on my main computer I went for linux definitely
Edit: it was 10 years ago
Two mains reasons:
Attracting investors
Attracting talented workers by signaling they are doing technical research
Also, people working in the industry might not even use those products. They want a cool job not a cool product
Yes. You already know that.
As an aside, I love that they have to stick the “worlds second largest economy” line in, despite by every metric China being the worlds largest economy.
For those like me who didn’t understand: China is the first economy if we rank them by GDP PPP. USA is the first by nominal GDP. So depending if you use the definition of the WTO or the IMF, China or the USA is the first economy. But, what is funny is that even IMF says that the USA is the first economy and Chine the second. That doesn’t fit their own figures
Yeah, I don’t understand either. Why isn’t he happy to be able to see his family more often? It is great news for when his parents age and when he will have kids
LinkedIn. Needed to find a job in my domain. Also people often talk about their posts. It makes people really happy when I like a post they talked about to me. When I don’t have a job daily.
Tweeter for some very specific events. Something like two weeks a year
Hacker news when I do not have anything to do at work. I say to myself that it is to stay up to date and sometimes I can find nice blogs. I would say something like once a month.
Breakup Divesting the Android operating system, used on about 2.5 billion devices worldwide, is one of the remedies that’s been most frequently discussed by Justice Department attorneys, according to the people. In his decision, Mehta found that Google requires device makers to sign agreements to gain access to its apps like Gmail and the Google Play Store.
It would be wonderful
So you think that he cheated and is trying to steal the election? If true, why would he stop now?
There were some that were made for french to make the orthography of words easier. They use accents generally. I do not use them and I do not know anyone that uses them.
There were xenophobic comments towards Russians, Ukrainians and Americans in these posts.
Also, I don’t think people should insult the people of a country when they criticize its government.
I did not see any racist comments for quite some time. But xenophobic comments were common on threads about Ukraine’s invasion.
The anti-French sentiment is also present here like in the whole English speaking web.
The French aren’t known for their hygiene so I am not surprised their river is filthy

In Belgium: Tartare or Mayo. Andalouse for the gal, thanks In the UK: Salt and Vinegar In both cases: I will have to change seat if you plop yourself in front of me with your poor fries inundated by ketchup. Only the French do that, and it is a Casus Belli in my book.

I self host a nextcloud service on my old desktop that serves as a server but every now and then the updates crash something. Sharing calendar and notes is too complicated if you don’t have a vps or a domain.
Self hosting is a pain imo. You can pay a small cloud provider with nextcloud. There is a middle ground between big tech and self hosting.
If she got sick from the swim, she got unlucky because the bacteria levels were “very good”. She probably got sick from somewhere else.
It was not E. coli that made her sick, she wrote, adding that she sought treatment at a clinic in the Olympic Village on Sunday after several days of vomiting and diarrhea “left me quite empty.”
World Triathlon said the bacteria levels last week when the individual triathlon events were held were considered “very good” and that the levels were also within acceptable limits during Monday’s triathlon mixed relay event.
Why is palantir bad ? Do you have some sources ?
What informations were released by China ? From the link:
It feels like they didn’t share new intels
I would say fire, flood and no tap water for three days.
Those are the most probable things that people are not ready for and should be. If you leave in a city near a river, chances are high that the general population (you included) underestimate vastly the risk of flooding. I learnt it this year with the heavy rains in my area.
