Games@lemmy.world•Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen – Announcement TrailerEnglish
4·16 小时前Guess I’m glad I haven’t picked up the base game yet. Put well over 500 hrs into the first game but for some reason I haven’t been able to pull the trigger on the second one yet, though it’s lived on my wish list since launch.
Different times, budget’s tighter I guess, but hope I can pick this up.

Games@lemmy.world•The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake – Coming 2026English
4·16 小时前It’s coming out this year and that’s all they had to show? Disappointing. I’d love to see more to decide if I’m buying a switch 2 for this.

Games@lemmy.world•The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake – Coming 2026English
21·16 小时前The TP recompile on PC, Dusklight, has been a blast. 120fps and 4k textures. Also runs really well on steamdeck.
I acknowledge that’s nowhere near the same thing as a proper remake, but thought I’d mention it in case you hadn’t heard of it.

61·2 天前There’s no supposing necessary. It was a fire hazard, and presently not eventually. When something has caused a fire, it’s no longer a hazard, it’s just, you know, a fire.

62·2 天前Can’t disagree more. Never been a better time to be a gamer. We’re so spoiled for choice and every genre has so many games, there’s bound to be something for everyone.

“tailscale might enshittify in the future” is honestly a poor argument against “plex is enshittified right now”

Late Stage Capitalism@lemmy.world•Wage theft remains a pervasive issue costing workers an estimated $50 billion annuallyEnglish
13·3 天前When self checkouts came around, I was a big fan. I hugely preferred it because I’m pretty socially awkward. I used it pretty much exclusively for a decade or so.
But this past year, something flipped in my brain. The rise of AI taking over everything, economy in shambles, general shit state of the world, I don’t know… But now I go out of my way to avoid self check outs. I will stand in line waiting for a cashier even if there’s self checkout wide open. I want that cashier to have a job. I want them to be able to afford their groceries.

Oh wow, I did not expect any more Blasphemous 2 updates. I am kinda holding out hope for a third game. They’re really good.

Then call it Matrix. They don’t need to know and probably don’t care about the specific server software you’re using.

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•The RAM crisis is resurrecting DDR4 memory and motherboard production as hardware cycle reverses - CPU, GPU, and RAM production are going back in time, for consumers anywayEnglish
6·5 天前The difference doesn’t necessarily come from the RAM itself, but that the best processors for gaming these days don’t support DDR4 anymore.
Must be regional because I’ve been looking and have not seen a dip 😭
Where have you seen prices coming down at all? I have only seen up up up.
Hard to be hyped about something I’m almost inevitably not going to be able to afford, though. No matter how badly I want the frame.
Has it really been “wildly swinging”? Been pretty solidly one direction, no?
