However it does confirm that I will never see these numbers in my lifetime.

A few Qs because I hate myself:

• what is your base salary?
• what is your pay currently?
• do you amend your base salary calculations when you get a raise?
• also what do you do that gives you a 20% raise every year?

What if you’re late 30s and not mid-20s? lol. jk I know I’m fucked.

I’m often asked to give money to people probably making quite a bit more than me when they have babies and such. Kind of feels like “forced donation”.

I know having a new baby will incur a lot more expenses but still.
