Yep. C-suites are using it for everything so have now started pushing it down into the org via an AI policy and company OKRs that forcefully encourage everyone to use it wherever and whenever possible.

It’s a shitshow. People have literally stopped thinking for themselves.

Seems really stable for the first beta so far, but have a couple of minor quirks.

Face ID to unlock the phone intermittently stops working and o have to fall back to my PIN.

A lot of third party messaging apps (Beeper, Discord, WhatsApp, etc) suffer from the message window being pushed off the top of the screen when I type a message/pop the keyboard.

Also, obviously my bank app no longer works but that’s always expected.

The new liquid glass UI looks great.

Just installed it on my kobo and it’s fantastic.

Trust nobody.

Quite the opposite.

I think about quitting work all the time.

I only think about work once a day.

I have 3 and a half thousand hours in DayZ. I’m golden.

I have never experienced any of this. Sounds like a skill issue.

The new Outlook (essentially Outlook on the web wrapped in an app framework) is very good indeed. I use it to aggregate my works 365 calendar with my multiple Google and Apple accounts.

Not a HR professional or recruiter (I work in IT), but I know my company uses a third party background checking service for this kind of thing.

It sounds like a nuclear option but it should avoid what would otherwise be a lot of fucking about. Fingers crossed a reinstall sorts it and you don’t have an underlying hardware issue.

Clean reinstall the OS.

Also top. Started with MacOS but have carried this through to Windows much to the annoyance of my fellow Windows using coworkers.
