The more intelligent someone is, the more their own thoughts and imagination get in their way. People who are “simple” sometimes are more capable of learning from their mistakes, sometimes because their environment forces them to.

I’m not saying that all that stuff is good, I’m saying that focusing on the environment aspect is weird when the environmental aspect is minuscule compared to all of the other stuff we do.
The other factors you mentioned such as increasing RAM prices are pretty much exclusive to ai and thus a better argument against it. Most people have computers or want a computer, most people have a phone, and so on
I got my wife into Linux after I put Mint on her old Lenovo, and she did some research, also told me Framework was a good brand. :) I got her away from Windows, recruiting everyone I know

Some would argue that the meat industry does not, in fact, produce food. Many have argued as such, in fact.

I think maybe this is something older than Abrahamic religions, but who knows. It just seems so coordinated across different faiths.

They’re throwing toasters into washing machines and trying to flush their shoes down the toilet out there on these aircraft carriers, so maybe this turn out, who knows

It is exceptionally rare for popular rebellions to happen without widespread food insecurity.
Not to mention the fact that most of our tax dollars go to the military! They may be incompetent but I don’t think the average American is more competent.
Nope. We’re done. I repeated myself over and over. I’m sorry if you’re still confused.
No dude it’s not helpful to tell someone to “just do it” when they can’t just do it. You’ve got to meaningfully help them do it. I’m not gonna repeat myself again.
I am trying to find something that’s basically a mac mini but better… I’m willing to pay more for something that lasts a really long time. I’ve noticed most of these recommended machines are reparable.

I don’t actually think AI is doing all of those things. I think the economy is already fucked and AI is a scapegoat for companies who were going to lay off a bunch of people anyway. I don’t think the water and electricity consumption compares to the meat industry, but I could be wrong. I think it’s weird that there is such an outrage over AI but not cattle, but I guess because people like beef more than they like hallucinated AI results.
It’s probably a good idea to self-host your own AI for privacy reasons alone, if you use it.
Your assumptions about me are off by a lot. (Except for me thinking of a small population, which made me reflect, thank you)
It’s not you in particular. Most people, when they hear autism, intellectual disability, or developmental delay picture a drooling helpless patient wearing a helmet who barely knows he’s indoors. Those guys exist, and they deserve care, but they do not represent the vast majority of disabled people.
And it’s obvious you believe it helps some people if I say “be social”.
No, I don’t think it helps at all. The people who are capable of being social are already social. Some may or may not use AI but the people who are capable of hearing “be social” and acting on it are largely already social and do not totally depend on AI. The reason you’re seeing “normal people” get AI psychosis is because THAT IS WHAT DISABLED PEOPLE LOOK LIKE. THEY LOOK ““NORMAL.”” Vulnerable people do not have a sign on their forehead that says I’m Vulnerable. That isn’t how it works.
Why is an advice “not beeing helpful” to some reason enough not to say it?
Because it’s exactly like saying “you should just make more money,” in my opinion.

I detest the EC, but if the PV is 60% or more, I’d say the EC would match
Are they legally required to do this?
Are you old enough to remember all the times they’ve openly ignored the popular vote?
the US citizenry would likely rebel
With what and how?

It’s safe but also, they voted for this. They wanted the bad stuff for others, they just didn’t wanted the bad stuff happen to them.
This is true from an emotional perspective, but neither you nor this person understands how our political system works. I mean I don’t fully understand it I’m sure, but I do know one thing.
It does not matter who we vote for in the presidential election. We have an electoral college, which has overturned the popular vote on multiple different occasions. The electoral college was instituted when black men earned the right to vote, as a measure to disenfranchise them. By all means vote for someone other than Trump, but that vote doesn’t have to be respected.

“I know something you don’t know, which makes sense because it’s not common knowledge, and I’m going to make you feel like shit about it.”

Pirating software and living life on the edge
How do you do that without getting a virus?

What’s the difference?
That’s not where my brain was going but I agree, even neurotypical people with enough spending money to care about other people’s problems don’t really want to hear about it, that’s a good point too
But using AI is all about cheating!
