I’m aboard the “AI is overhyped” train, but… if AI allows people to diagnose illnesses faster, that would absolutely lengthen some lifespans. It’s actually a fairly simple conclusion. Maybe the guy is otherwise a douchebag, I haven’t looked into him, but this claim is reasonable.
