Its range and flight time, however, are quite limited at 18.6 miles (30km) and around 25 minutes.
This are measly number for a price tag of over 400.000 dollars. And that’s without maintenance and supervision and what not.
Some of the numbers don’t add up. Max speed is easy over 100 km/h - and they don’t manage more than 30 km of range in nearly half an hour? Is the vertical takeoff sucking so hard on the batteries that there’s not much energy left after they reached travel height? I ask about this because that was the case with other VTOLs.
There’s so many tremendous posts in this community and this is one of them. Thank you, I know you’re probably thinking it was nothing, but I really enjoyed it.
Battery technology is only getting better and there are other models with a far higher range already. Despite all the naysayers, this technology has enormous potential.
A toy for the rich, nothing more.
