This is peak San Francisco. The guy in the car being too scared to talk with the construction people, the car not knowing what to do, the person connecting to the car and taking it over manually while the software refuses to admit that’s what’s happening, the construction people waving the car to go forward through the open lane and both the guy in the car and the car not understanding, and doing something stupid and inconvenient instead, holding everybody up.
Perfection.
Not even sure this would have been different if it were a regular car with a person driving it directly. There are worse situations with regular drivers posted every day online. People are stupid already, and they seem to lose brain cells when behind the wheel of a multi-ton death trap on wheels.
