This is the dumbest vehicle to ever live, everyone driving them is having a comically miserable time and you don’t have to feel bad for laughing at them because they all deserve it.

An excerpt: No heat in MN.. freezing!

Has anyone experienced an issue with no heat? Located in MN and temps are currently sub-zero.

Dropped my son off at hockey practice last night with the temp around 0… heat was working fine. Went home for an hour and tapped the fan button within the app to pre-heat the car before picking him up. The car was freezing when I got in, fan was blowing cold air. I tried multiple settings, defrost, turned off/on, I could not get the heat to come out.

Ran into a similar issue this morning. It’s currently -7 and my wife “preheated” the car before taking the kids to school. She called me on the way, I can see the interior temp is currently 13 degrees. She’s not happy.

I created a service request, the soonest appointment is January 6th… there’s no way I can wait a month to get heat back!!

Don’t worry, someone has replied with a solution.

Hey in the mean time maybe you can use a portable heater since there are electrical outlets when you are in the car?

Oh yeah, y’know those things that pose a fire hazard if tipped? Yes, put that in your bomb disguised as a truck - a moving vehicle that will tip it over easily.

Tesla spent 2 billion dollars to develop an $80,000 car that can’t function in anything but perfect summer weather, and even then has a chance of locking itself for reasons that no one can figure out.

Meanwhile, a high end electric car in China has all the same features at less than half the price, and with the bonus of everything working properly.

The service associate I worked with was chill and let me feel like I was heard with how ridiculous it is I needed to come in person for this however, I ran out of steam pretty quickly because, well shit I just love my damn truck so much I can’t stay mad at it haha.

Still love the truck though! agony-shivering

I’m trying to figure out if it’s just my windshield wiper that sucks or if this is every Cybertruck. I’ve seen a couple comments from folks about the wiper and the jets that shoot wiper fluid. I live in the Pacific Northwest and it rains a lot as well as the roads are just damp and dirty. What I’ve noticed is that not only do the jets not properly spray fluid over the entire windshield, But the wiper itself doesn’t really contact the windshield near the top of the wiper. It’s acceptable for the driver even though still about 30 to 40% of the viewable area remains dirty. But the real problem is that the area that doesn’t get enough windshield wiper fluid and the wiper doesn’t fully contact the windshield smears dirt across the entire camera housing area. Making auto pilot and FSD unuseable even in perfectly acceptable weather conditions. I received my truck on Dec 23 2024 with a vin ending in 039xxx

There are sooooo many posts about the windshield wipers. One guy’s wipers bent in half and scratched the shit out of his windshield. Another guy’s wipers exploded while driving in the snow.

And of course every post about it starts with like “we were in Tahoe driving back from the ski station when…” and ends with “other than having zero visibility, the truck did great!” so there’s zero incentive not to laugh at these cultists with more dollars than sense.

Try the drop flop… While driving about 40, reach out and lift top of the wiper from the windshield about 6 inches or so and let it flop back into place. Then, try a cleaning wipe again. I just did that this morning and it worked great.

Just reach your hand out your window at cruising speed and jiggle it, it’ll be fine.

There is something kinda cathartic about seeing these people funnel their money to the single stupidest and most insecure man alive, like a capitalist version of the god emperor from WH, just sucking the life out of all these people so he can seig heil on national television. At least no one with real material problems is participating in this.

It’s like watching a guy buy rakes for the express purpose of stepping on them after a whole bunch of people told him not to.

It’s officially not our fault that this is happening and who it’s happening to.
