Thanks so much. I didn’t bother to archive it since it was 404’d.

And it wasn’t over my head, at all 🫣. Nonetheless, I’m very excited about this. I got the gist of it and I hope it pans out. I’ve already lost friends and family to pancreatic cancer and am in the process of losing another one from it. I would like for others not to suffer losses unnecessarily.

Thanks so much. At my age, if you haven’t had several lives lost around you, your family and friends are immortal. None of us are getting out alive. It’s just that early, preventable losses are everywhere, and probably most are due to profit, in my estimation. If I am not misremembering, Cuba has a lung cancer vaccine? Here we have warnings on tobacco products, and that was hard-won.

They do, but it’s not a vaccine in a traditional sense. My understanding that once you get diagnosis, they can use it to arrest cancer. It’s kind of tragic that due to US embargoes it’s not available to people in western countries.

Don’t get me started. For the first time in all my life, I had a chance to visit Cuba, if I could get the funds together to hop a charter boat. That’s not going to be a likely opportunity in my lifetime, now. I’d feel so honored to spend time there, getting to know the people and culture, eating good, clean food and maybe finding a little something to contribute meaningfully, in some way. What we’ve done to Cuba and the rest of the world is wholly unacceptable.

I find people of Cuba are incredibly inspiring. They’ve been forced to live under such cruel economic warfare, and they make it work despite that. I’m really hopeful about Cuba joining BRICS, hopefully now they’ll be able to trade freely and thrive going forward.

I’m in full agreement with these sentiments. They are a hearty, inspiring people with a rich cultural heritage. I hope my progeny will be able and interested in visiting, one day. I’m really worried about Cuba in a BOE. Do you know if they have been able to plan for it?
