so I’ll post this here:
I was wondering what curve describes the edge between the dark area and the light area and from just trying out different stuff tan(x) seems to be the closest (though I’m not 100% sure) https://www.desmos.com/calculator/4vdslt4lz8

It might be a logistics function. They sort of model exponential growth and saturation.

You might be on to something, although I expect the curve to have something to do with logarithms as well (since it’s on a log scale). Or it might be some really weird function.
Also, you can post images onto desmos?!
To get the same shape in logarithmic scale it would be tan(log(x)) - but desmos can’t display images when logarithmic scale is active.
yup :D it’s very fun to just chose an image and just make outlines from functions
