I’ve noticed that the actual prices haven’t changed but all the stuff that used to be 4 or 5 bucks is still 4 or 5 bucks bur it’s “on sale” marked down from 7 or 8 bucks. And everyrhing is “on sale” my guess is these sales are gonna slowly dissappear and everything’s gonna be the higher price within 2 months.
This is a well established retail tactic to ease customers into price hikes. I remember Walgreens pulling this shit all the time when I worked there like 15 years ago.

When I worked at Lowes they would also increase the prices of appliances a couple months ahead of big sales
