This is bullshit, Israel had Gaza sealed off long before that.
Gaza is a giant koncentration camp, and Jews of Israel have become the evil they suffered in Germany during WW2.What happened since Oct 7 2023 is that Gaza was shut off completely, meaning that foreign aid like food and medicine was blocked. Causing widespread starvation, disease and child death in Gaza.

They are unable to drill new water wells, install pumps or deepen existing wells, in addition to being denied access to the Jordan River and fresh water springs. Israel even controls the collection of rain water throughout most of the West Bank, and rainwater harvesting cisterns owned by Palestinian communities are often destroyed by the Israeli army.

OK, I changed it to 58 years ago! 30 years is just as far back as I personally remember it.
To be fair, this is exactly what the western powers wanted after WWI and why they divided up the land the way they did.

The western world won’t risk having another Ottoman Empire so they keep everybody fighting with each other and control puppet states. They tried to do it in Iran in the 70’s.
WWI only ended a little more than 100 years ago. Political powers around the world are still very much influenced by the causes and events of WWI.
Kidnapped, not detained. The correct word for what happened is kidnapping.
