This is the neoliberal defense of migrants as humans. They produce things for the treatler economies, and thus they shouldn’t all be round up and put into gaschambers. It is also a losing argument, as the far right doesn’t give a shit about the economy at large and just wants death

I hope unions take the opportunity to leverage this labor shortage for higher wages/better terms. That would also have a domino effect on the immigration crackdowns bc capitalists will seek to reclaim their labor surplus.
I wonder how much of this is Trump not knowing this would happen and how much is him not caring.
He owns hotels, he 100% didn’t know
