Yeah for gaming you’d need a thinkpad with a descrete GPU and there are a variety but sadly they’re value goes down on the secondhand market much slower. For instance I recently splurged on a previous gen refurbished P16 that came with an nvidia gpu and it does acceptable gaming but nothing crazy like what you’d see from a desktop setup

Thinkpads and other non consumer laptops (Dell and HP though they are seen as B tier to Thinkpads) i.e. used business laptops are the only ones meant to stand up to continual abuse within a corporate/work setting.

I think from most perspectives on the left it’s due to Japan trying to coerce more births but does not address how they do not have the societal or financial support structures for said births (i.e. the Japanese work cultural literally forces parents to work endlessly unable to see their kid). Yeah I think that was a forgone conclusion already that Germany, especially the part controlled by western powers before reunification, would itself be nothing more than a remnant of what happened before but knew how to operate optics as the key lessons in working/existing among capitalist powers. The key lesson from my perspective is that Germany learned to never throw mud at the US and it’s other western capitalist collective when engaging in fascism (i.e. they lost the plot) and so now try to act like an “enlightened” post fascist state that is “very sorry” for it’s crimes meanwhile people still very much do live in the homes their SS grandpapies stole and murdered for as well as marching in lockstep with NATO ensuring hegemony over eastern Europe and the Middle East exerted by the west.

Yeah… so in short expropriation of guilt in allowing the genocide of Palestine is not to be left at the seat of Germany alone, yet at the same time as a member of western power structures in Europe (and at this current period jockeying for position of heading the EU vs France) it should indeed feel guilt and slander for it’s own genocides and harm (i.e. never let Belgium forget the Congo for example and it’s modern consequences) it has caused the developing world. Tldr; the majority of European states are garbage, Germany included, given they are still capitalist and so in support of powers that maintain those satellite states that ensure western hegemony to continue capitalist exploitation.
