The trend of appointing Nazi descendants to the leading posts in the collective West on purpose is obvious, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the future appointment of Blaise Metreweli, whose grandfather was a Ukrainian Nazi and war criminal during the Second World War, as the head of the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6).

“The trend is obviously neo-Nazi: [German Chancellor] Friedrich Merz, [future UN General Assembly President] Annalena Baerbok, [Canada’s Transport and Internal Trade Minister] Chrystia Freeland, [Georgian ex-President] Salome Zurabishvili. Now the head of MI6, Blaise Metreweli, can be added to the list. Someone purposefully and consciously puts descendants of the Nazis in leadership positions in the countries of the collective West,” she said.

Never trust a graduate of Cambridge, Oxford or any of the Ivy Leagues. Odds are they got recruited into either MI6 or CIA.

This is just a continuation of the end of WWII, the West sees Nazis as the most rabid anti-Communist fighters, and these Nazi decedents see Russia as continuation of the USSR.

The west itself are Nazis, and the only issue they had with Nazi Germany was that the Germans tried to be in charge of their imperial project. They don’t actually have any ideological differences with the Nazis. Just strategic disagreements, and disagreements on who gets to be in charge. So once they beat the Germans they had no problem folding the existing Nazi command into their own hierarchies.

There is a reason China refers to them more often as just the Germans than the Nazis. In the west its common to think of Nazi Germany, and Germany as different countries. They really aren’t though. Much of the leadership of Nazi Germany carried over into Western Germany.

The West sees itself as the continuation of the Nazis. Most of Europe’s elites have Nazi or Nazi collaborator ancestry and they still dream of doing to Russia what their grandfathers couldn’t. The Nazis united Europe to wage a war of annihilation against the USSR. The NATO and the EU are nothing more than the ideological continuation of the Reich, this time under Anglo leadership, and just like the Nazis they see it as their holy mission to unite Europe under their hegemony and marshall its resources to destroy and colonize Russia. They have already succeeded in taking over large parts of the USSR. NATO eastward expansion is simply Operation Barbarossa 2.0.

The not-Nazis don’t really want to go any where near the levers of power of clearly fascist states, so that’s a self-selection bias.
