LSF leaked and infected all the other subs at once. It was so obviously a planned brigade just like the Trash Taste one.

Fuckers lost their shit over fake and imaginary dog abuse when they didn’t feel bad for babies being murdered in a genocide for the last 24 months.

I am personally annoyed that I have had to learn shock and vibration collar models just to explain to various hexbear users that you shouldn’t just, by default, believe whatever Zionist destiny orbiters say about Hasan.

Like bro, you are proposing to go up against the entirety of capitalism and its propaganda forces, you better be able to handle what they throw at a lone pro-Palestinian demsoc streamer.

      sad

I called it out as soon as I saw it since it was obviously a coordinated smear campaign ,you can tell from the comments and their structure

Israel uses it to create support for Israel in the gulf states by making it seem like people support Israel (botted accounts and paid propagandists with multiple accounts)

Yeah I swear like 20% of “Israeli” “tech startups” are just various forms of spying and social manipulation. They are keenly aware of how much their project depends on the complicity of surrounding states and funding and cover from Western imperialists, which all comes crashing down if public sentiment is lost due to the public learning basic truths.

The lingering streamer hate and this manufactured outrage was enough to get several hexbears to denounce the loudest American supporter of Palestinians.

i feel the same way, i try to avoid this type of braindead drama cuz it always makes me lose faith in humanity lol, but it’s genuinely kinda scary how quickly this clearly made up grievance went viral

fucking penguinz0 (lmao) fell for the smear, hell there was even a meme about it on the fucking silksong subreddit with thousands of upvotes. either this shit is being botted into oblivion or critical thinking is truly dead. unfortunately i think it’s both

I cannot believe that it happened organically and that it’s not amplified by bots. Makes me cautious because I wonder what bandwagons I’ve been on that are manufactured. There’s been all sorts of outrage since before Hasan called Hila a valid military target because she wanted to spice up her career with torturing people or whatever the context and actual words were.

I don’t believe people on Twitter are real. I don’t believe people on Reddit are real. I need to never look at them again in my life

It even bled into my peaceful VTuber feed. Now, there’s obviously a lot of reactionary fans, but I have my feed carefully curated so it’s basically just the VTubers themselves and the cool queer side of the fanbase. But a really prominent VTuber (who I suspect has pretty milquetoast succdem politics) made a tweet condemning it on their non-corporate account and it threw me for a loop. Thankfully, it seems that they realized that they had gone off half-cocked and deleted the tweet, but it was pretty surreal.

I think the fact that it involves a dog short-circuits people’s critical thinking, and it also gets people who aren’t very politically aware on-board who normally wouldn’t wade into a political argument (and obviously no normal person is gonna know WTF “Destiny brigade on LivestreamFail” means, let alone be aware of it). Like, there is no chance in hell a corporate VTuber would directly tweet about Palestine, alt account or not, but this one unknowingly participated in a proxy war intended to discredit a prominent pro-Palestine voice.

There was one in the Deadlock subreddit, and it was clearly being astroturfed. The amount of upvotes and pre-prepared link dumps to LSF/lonerbox/other Destiny corners of the internet that immediately filled the thread were not natural.

It’s impressive how much it took off. They’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time, that or ICE kidnapping him. It’s also a very silly thing to believe, but I guess the clip looks pretty bad when you don’t consider the context of thousands of hours of footage.

The clip doesn’t really look bad. For it to look bad you have to first be primed with the narrative that DDGers provide to the clip: that he shocked the dog.

Without that priming, Hasan just looks like someone grumpy that his dog is getting up and hurting itself when it is supposed to be on its bed. I can’t imagine caring about that.

Also a known close associate of “genZ Jane Goodall” uses a shock collar, yes

Also a 7 year old clip where he talks about how he bought a shock collar has an obvious fade-cut right in the middle. Maybe we should look up the original clip to make sure they aren’t editing out context… “…I would never use one of these, though…” Oh, interesting.

yeah I don’t know why I’ve had to hear about this 2000 times. If you’re gonna go after Hasan why this weak stuff? Not gonna talk about his rhetoric not matching how he acts when he talks with people like Bernie or AOC? Not gonna talk about the mansion anymore? Just perpetual outrage and jumping at shadows. Pure spectacle, it’s all meaningless on purpose.

I have been forced to see the clip several times now, and as someone who has had dogs all my life, as someone who has veterinarians in my immediate family, one yelp does not an animal abuser make. My God, the very same day a child was being streamed actually in the process of going from the womb to outside of it. Logically should we not assume there is child abuse for a shot of a newborn crying on camera? Quite frankly I worry for the child’s future more than Kaya’s.

When it comes to influencers and their pets, there is no winning, no matter how perfectly you take care of them. People will always have something to say, as if most people don’t make grievous mistakes with their pet dogs.

Has anyone seen or heard anybody talk about this offline? I think that shows how organic it actually is. Most of Hasan’s hate is done by brigades but then he goes offline in public and gets love with the only hate being an occasional Destiny fan. You’ll know it’s real when even normies say something like, “You’re that terrorist sympathizer on Twitch!”

I’ve had some family members that know I watch Hasan share similar things with me before from subreddits like r/livestreamfail or r/youtubedrama, once about his “death threat against hila klein” for example, but I don’t think those folks are actively using Reddit anymore thank god.

Although, this “drama” is so easily debunked and is a good example to describe how these harassment campaigns always go. I just think this one got the most traction due to the subject matter.

Yep, mainstream social media is thoroughly liberal. It is still useful to agitate there, and try to bring people over to federated media, but there’s a liberal hegemonic stranglehold there.
