An eye-opening new report has revealed some trans adults are waiting decades, and in some areas, centuries, for an NHS gender clinic appointment

The wait varies widely around the UK, according to QueerAF. Times can range from three years in Nottingham, to 41 years in Belfast and a staggering 224 years in Glasgow.

      It’s definitely one of those headlines that they write to get people talking - just like we are right now. Threads like this are money in the bank to modern media. Instigate the buzz with specious headlines, assume only a few people actually read the shit, cash in the clicks. It’s deeply cynical.
