I’m saying I don’t think I am both informed enough OR involved enough to have a really good take on the events.
… then why are you proposing a take on the events if you don’t think you’re informed enough?
Sometimes coups are good, sometimes they are bad, the end result of the coup was bad and if you take any stock in the US being behind it then the Clinton’s putting him back is bad.
… the end result of the coup was bad…
… therefore…
… restoring the president who held power before the coup is bad…
… but only if the US was behind it?
Fucking what?
That’s the answer to the question you asked, I’m not trying to take a side here specifically in these comments even if I’d be apt to believe that it was well intentioned.
You are very clearly taking a side, considering that your initial comment is entirely about “no matter how you look at it” that the actions of the Clinton administration subverted the will of the people.
I feel like you’re twisting my meaning to incite an argument I’m not trying to have or back.
Sometimes coups are good, sometimes bad. End of thought.
The end result of the coup in Haiti was “it was bad”. End of thought.
If you think the USA was behind the coup, the coup that turned out to be bad, then you probably think the Clintons returning him to power was also bad. End of thought.

Okay, I might see where the disconnect is here.
The coup overthrew the democratically elected president, Aristide, during Bush Sr’s administration.
Bill Clinton, along with the international community, backed removing the coup leaders from power. and returning Aristide to office.

Yes. We’re both speaking about the factual events.
You asked a question that I mistook for you being unawares to why anyone could have the take of the OP.
I should have clocked you were trying to incite OP into an argument I wasn’t trying to have
