They see like this all the time.

I was gonna say “becoming one with your mothers clone apparently destroys the world” but I think the other answers here make more sense cause I honestly never got it.
So they MiGHT have working missiles on 3-5 more years… Assuming those corpos don’t just fuck off and make the F-35 version of a hypersonic missile. lol
Then then have to figure out a ship that can actually manage to launch them.
So realistically they have a decade before they start to have the same capabilities that China and Russia are already showing. Lol.
And this is the country that’s beating it’s chest and drumming for more war.
The only thing they have realistically that is a threat at this point is a lot of nukes. Idk how far along China is on systems to defend against nukes but I have to imagine they are getting pretty far along with it.
I swear we get some of the dumbest comments from ppl outside of Lemmygrad. Every time I see one with negatives I know it’s just some idiot lib or fed poster type.
Factory robots are pre programmed sets of movements that, if they get out of alignment, will just mess up and stop working properly. They don’t have much or any ability to analyze different tasks. They aren’t designed to be able to analyze different objects and move them accordingly on their own. Most don’t even have sensors and if they do is pretty basic shit to align two objects together for assembly. The fact you can move this around and have it do all sorts of tasks that this can analyze and do itself without further input makes it so far beyond a factory robot. You can’t even take an auto assembly arm from one part of the line and move it to another part of the line without reprogramming in the movement parameters.
Libs cope and seeth when an oligarch that embezzled 12 BILLION dollars is sentenced to death in Vietnam but will nod approvingly when a man’s life is ruined for trying pay his rent by modding some pokemans as a side gig.
Nice.
My only real critique is of the AI Earth and random satellite and floating solar panels image they use. lol. Idk why but it disturbs me.
Western countries use of AI: Track peoples moves on the internet to spam them with an endless stream of advertisements.
China use of AI: More. Efficient. TRAINS.
I recall lots of old school animes loving on the idea of the space rail launcher. China making the future tech Japan dreamt about but will never have.
Beautiful.
China is bad. Bad fucking ass.
Seriously look at this thing. When was the last time Amerikkka produced something this cool?
Or an air lock system where the train pulls into it first then is re/de-pressurized depending on if it’s going into a station or leaving.
I imagine it will have an air lock system. You wouldn’t pressurize/depressurize the whole track. Just small sections at the beginning and end of the ride. You would board, and then the train pulls forward to a section of track that seals off from both the station and the rest of the track. That section is vacuumed then doors to the vacuum sealed rail open. Train moves out.
Then when nearing the next station the reverse is done. Train pulls into a section that is then sealed and pressurized. Then pulls forward into the station where people get off/board.
Assuming they would vacuum and pressurize the whole rail is silly. That’s like if they decided to depressurize the whole space station every time someone had to do a space walk. That’s not how that happens. The train would take up most of the space in the air lock section so there wouldn’t be nearly as much air to remove. It would probably take less time that you would spend boarding a commercial flight.
They are going to use this as an excuse to just throw more money at Musk and Bezos and then that money will just disappear.
Didn’t they say in the article they had plans to release a 1watt battery in 2025? I’ll be honest, I’m not good with electricity. lol
I am weary of it solely because it seems too good to be true but on the other hand can we hurry up with smart phones that never need to be charged?
Also though I have to wonder, could these be used in things that aren’t using power all the time? Like, lots of devices use power intermittently. What happens to the excess energy when the battery isn’t in use? Just dissipates? Or would you simply not use these batteries for such an application?
Well actually also it’s designed around one big heavy bullying a few smaller under equipped ships and or attacking smaller nations that aren’t capable of defending themselves.
I feel like this is going to be for a very specific type of flight that will be in only the most necessary cases for ultra fast travel. Otherwise the vast majority of domestic travel will be by the high speed rails.
