Not much to say

Pulling third World countries out of acute poverty by stealing their resources has been a very effective selling point.

And compared to Doom, Marathon had more to offer from what I recall. Att least I remember it more fondly but I might mix it up with the sequels.

To me it was something about the setting, I was like 13 at the time and compared to Quake that was an excellent multiplayer game, the vibe and story really attracted me at the time.
The main difference to halo is that the master chief feels like an unstoppable war machine but marathon made me feel scared, running around in vents and panicking at the sight of a bug.
"Pirates are evil? The Marines are righteous? These terms have always changed throughout the course of history! Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values! Those who stand at the top determine what’s wrong and what’s right! This very place is neutral ground! Justice will prevail, you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!"

Oni was awesome but I will not take this Marathon slander sitting down!
Not until I finally buy something do I get floder with the right ads, at which point those ads are pointless.
For all the data they have on us they sure are pretty ass at utilizing it.

Are you claiming that there’s a strong likelihood that Dutch people are or work smarter than Spaniards?
I think at that point it has nothing to do with the dead animal. It has been transformed from a living being to a resource we can chose to be wasteful or not with. But there are some serious spiritual hoops to jump through if we want to see it as a honorary action towards our victim.
It’s the phrasing of honouring or respecting the deceased that is the problem. If someone decided to kill and eat me and some weird afterlife shenanigan would allow me to be aware of it, I sure as hell wouldn’t find it honouring that they made a cowboy hat of my skin and guitar frets of my bones. Though it would be very metal.
Slaying an animal to utilise every piece of it’s corpse would be a more correct and honest take.

When the hype started I decided to wait for products to mature, standards to emerge and prices to drop.
I’m not going to hold my breath.

Yeah that’s a big miss on megacrits end.

Just by removing watcher and dropkick they killed the most common infinites.
I hope they give ironclad more support for exhaust. Taking feel no pain was free on sts1 because like a third of his card interacts with it but here it’s a gamble.

Classy finish with the exact knife trap count and congratulations on beating it!
It’s so weird that such a great game gets grifted by whiny chinese and gamergate wankers.
Feel free to post on https://piefed.social/c/slaythespire@lemmy.ca, I’m sure people there would enjoy it!

I loved starbound early access but when they released it fully with a sloppy story slapped onto it, giving you a mech the first thing that happens and tons of dialog that can’t be skipped I noped out.

Desty Nova from alita (Not the generic villain Norton played in the movie, the one from the comic).
What’s so great about him is that he doesn’t have any interest to rule or destroy, but he loves to set the stage for interesting happenings and watch them unravel. But he loves flan more.

Beating nightmare grimm is where I peaked.
Is it even possible to lose without a king?
