There is huge progress on the Mobile Linux front and Ubuntu Touch is still very much a thing but all of it is far from ready. The majore issue with phones is their closed source drivers and hellscape of vendor specific kernels tho, if they had mainline Linux kernels vendors could update them forever with relatively little effort, custom ROMs wouldn’t need devixe specific ports and we could use much of the current mobile Linux progress accross a wide range of devices!

Soulseek using Nicotine+ is the best solution I found so far, if you are happy with worse quality you can alos get it from Youtube but on Soulseek you often find flac and mp3 to choose from, just make sure to redistribute a little too! ;)

To try and counter some of the stupidity in this comment section: There is nothing illegal about the piracy community and not even Reddit blocked it, the dbzer0 server has been one of the most civil and well managed around and this is a rediculess move!

I use it and don’ care much but it’s definitely Torrenting so if you are in a country with bad laws and very paranoid you whould probably use a VPN but just know that the few actual lawsuites that came from this bs are at best symbolic and your chance to get hit by a lightning is probably a lot higher.
