It’s a long journey through government approval and human testing before lab results become commercial products. I’m guessing that is what the story is here.

Not that Adrenochrome is actually a thing but it’s the closest analog to the concept that I’m aware of

Funny anecdote, but I have a pet pig, and his behavior/brain/whatever seems as close to humans as any animal I’ve been around. He seems very close to acting like a 3-4 year old toddler. Much more so than any dog or cat, less so than a primate I’m sure. Anyhow, I love pigs, but I’m down for growing them for hearts.
