So this is really interesting, the general consensus is that with the current iteration looking like real glasses, the general populus won’t react negatively and so they’ll have a real chance of gaining traction and with Snap, Meta and Google all releasing new products, I think the price will make them accessible enough that they have a real chance.
The Meta Quest 3 is the one I’ve found most appealing. Using it as a virtual desktop or entertainment screen looks genuinely useful, though shame it still looks so ungainly.
