They’re also all very similar algorithms; though, I don’t know where you want to draw the line between AI and machine learning – those are just two terms for the same thing to me.

My Amazon history says 2023, so 2022 might be about right. I can tell you the hype for Alphafold wasn’t until after COVID regardless of when the first version might have technically come out.
