    This is really exciting. At 0.075 USD / w, that means a 8kw system would only cost 600 USD in solar panels!

    Even in Central Europe a 8kw system should cover people’s basic needs year round. At that price it would be amazing. Labor on the other hand would still be expensive.

    This is the kind of stuff that has me holding off on buying solar. Why should I take out a loan now when that money can get me a significantly better system in 5 years?

      it should drive panel costs down, so you can overinstall capacity, which you could equate to a better system. still will need batteries to store the power for night etc., but yeah, looking forward to this tech making panels significantly cheaper and perhaps more effecient.
