Revival trusts, which would allow people who get their bodies frozen after death to have their money when they’re resurrected someday, touch a fringe area of law and are built on a tower of assumptions. Still, they’re being taken seriously enough to attract discussion among industry professionals and interest from true believers.
I suspect that today’s freezing procedures might be too crude for revival at any point in the future, but I’m glad that the some folks are pursuing the technology. Cryopreservation will likely have benefits in other fields as well.
