Every time we try to do a Supervised Outside Experience for our cat, she gets scared. She’ll touch one paw to the grass and then look up at us like “can we go back inside mom?”
You’re probably better off, I know this cat likes it because for example I am taking the first vacation I’ve ever taken in my life and every time I get near a door to the outside world she’s pressing her nose into the edge of the door and trying to grab the handles. I thought she just did this stuff around the times I’d take her out, but no, it’s all the times. I’ve created a monster.

Was she always an inside cat?
Yep! Although she was born in a garbage bin, she’s spent her whole life since then as an indoor cat.
Mine fights me and the few times she has gotten out she’s come back with like 5 dead things. Darby is too fucking hardcore for the world.
maybe a patch of grass inside would help her acclimate to the idea of natural carpeting
Eh, I’m not really too worried about it, it’s probably a good thing that she doesn’t want to be outside, so she doesn’t run away.
