Interviewing Malcom, Tony and Angus (I don’t recognise the other faces but they’re guaranteed Lib), then presenting himself as an independent
I’m guessing it’s probably something where the party didn’t give him pre-selection for his electorate or something.
All g. I’ve been switched off from all the electoralism 🤮 but it’s funny seeing someone I’ve met on hexbear. That being said, I wonder if this is a ploy to capture disaffected Teal voters (who Libs are grouping in with Labor and the Greens) or never-Duttons and filter more back through to them by playing preferences. Anecdotally on WeChat I’ve seen many Chinese-Australian voters saying ‘I support Liberal but Dutton is anti-China, we can’t vote him’.
lmaooooooo i know this guy. He’s a Liberal, literally. I dunno why he’s running as an independent though
