A lot of people like to puff out their chest and say that. I still haven’t seen something like that happen in the news for all the times ICE has raided people’s homes throughout the country. It could be a matter of time but it’ll be exceedingly rare.

The news like’s to pretend that stuff doesn’t happen but it does. I remember cops getting super pissed off because the court ruled that a guy who shot some cops was legally in the clear in that particular situation.

It is a situation where after the pin drops, everything explodes. Exceedingly rare will become common, simply because law and norms no longer has enough belief to sustain the status quo.

The America we knew is running on inertia alone. That ride is coming to an end.

It does happen, although I haven’t heard of it happening recently with ICE per se, but I do recall Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend firing at police for entering the home unannounced and hitting a cop.

its already being portrayed by media in a sanitized manner, not neccesarily with mental illness. they report, and then they stop tlaking about it, it helps normalize it.
