I liked seeing that global effort. I was surprised there was no mention of Canada’s Interac system.
Honestly, Canada seems to be all fluff and no action on these subjects.
Most of Carney’s moves to safeguard Canada from Murica seem hollow and just for show. Most of the “Canada first” contracts are going to corporations in the States; the whole “Canada Digital Cloud” is Microslop’s Azure with a pinky promise they will defend the data in court should the Murican gov ask for it.

What the hell are you talking about? there is ZERO chance Canada can move away from Mastercard or Visa without a government initiative
I like our Interact system and I do agree they may be a great venue to expand into credit brokerage… but there is little chance that would happen without gov sponsorship
