I’m Donnie Deals, folks! That’s what they call me. I’ve got the best deals, isn’t that right? It’s what I do, I love it, you love it. Some say I’m the greatest
This “Xi” guy, you know him? He’s tough, like a dragon. He won’t budge, I like that. I like it when it’s hard. They say “what doesn’t kill you makes you tougher”, I agree. But sometimes it’s too tough, too much toughness waisted. That’s what I say. I told Xi, “You’re too hard! You’ll tire me out! My battery is running so low, I can’t waste any more of my energy”. He didn’t agree, that’s his opinion. He’ll realise.
I need to “charge”, no more tariffs! My doctors, the best in the world, are saying I need to calm down. My hearts too big, beating too fast. I can’t do it anymore! My bloods getting clotted, as they say. It’s getting FAT!
trump should never deal with a country that is known for “Dragon policy”
I feel like China is not going to lift the restrictions on trading rare earth minerals regardless. Trump did irrevocable damage to the US economy because he decided to fuck around.
they will just fund thier own BYD, and sell it all over the world, where its not be tariffed.
China shouldn’t lift it unless the US lifts sanctions on semiconductors and tariffs on EVs. The trade war started well before this month’s Trump shenanigans. No reason to back down now.
Indeed, the whole trade war gave a perfect pretext for China to choke off US military, and there’s no sense in letting them keep arming against China going forward.
They could use the opportunity to negotiate lifting a lot of other sanctions, maybe.
Trump started a trade war and lost. Now the winner names the terms of the surrender
It’s not beneficial for them to do that though. More US sanctions means more trade for China.
It’s not beneficial to China for the US to stop blockimg tens or hundreds of millions of relatively wealthy consumers from purchasing Chinese high-tech products like cars and phones?
They can buy directly from China. Thye don’t need America to lift sanctions, they’re a sovereign country and not a part of NATO.
Edit: oh, you meant sanctions against Chinese goods. I thought you meant on the behest of other countries.
That would be great
new pump and dump incoming. expect like 4 different public announcements of wildly divergent numbers
Listen folks, nobody raises tariffs like me BIG, BEAUTIFUL tariffs, the best tariffs! Then, because I’m a very stable genius, I lower them. Why? STRATEGY! The Art of the Deal, people! You gotta keep ‘em guessing! China’s like, ‘Wow, this guy’s crazy!’ (They respect it.) One day it’s 240%, next day it’s 20%. It’s like a roller coaster, but classy. Very classy. SAD losers don’t get it!
Some people are saying this is chaos. WRONG. It’s flexible brilliance. You’re welcome, America!
Me earlier today: These tarriffs are going to really hurt
Me after seeing this: HA! What a coward
It’s like egging on a suicidal dude. Because he is an asshole and won’t be missed.
Bullying Hitler in the bunker.
Flip-Flop Don
no more half measures walter
Looks like trump is getting tired of winning
